Abstract

Proteomic analysis, an investigation of the quantity, location and interactions of proteins within cells, is an essential part of functional genomics. The BBSRC IGF proteomics facility allows the Arabidopsis and Drosophila research communities to exploit these technologies, and it also provides them with expert guidance. The facility has provided the service to Arabidopsis researchers through GARNet since May 2001. In this proposal, we request a renewal of the funding for facility staff, to allow transfer to a self-financing basis according to the business plan.
