Abstract
To elucidate the role of large-scale structural reorganisation in interprotein electron transfer (eT). To investigate this using, as a model system, electron transferring flavoprotein (ETF) with emphasis on (i) mediation of eT to physiological partners, (ii) chaperoning of reducing equivalents, and (iii) conferment of unusual redox properties. To provide unique insight at the atomic level into a transient physiological eT complex involving large-scale structural reorganisation.
