Abstract
The objectives of this project are to examine the molecular mechanisms of Marek's disease virus oncogenicity, specifically on the role of the Meq gene in oncogenesis; analyse the molecular events in Marek's disease virus pathogenicity; evaluate Marek's disease virus load as a measurement of vaccination efficacy in relation to the genetics of the host.
