Abstract

To examine the effect of expression level of the PrP gene on incubation time of disease, the replication of infectivity and the accumulation of PrP. To assess whether the alterations in incubation period in mice with different copy numbers of the PrP gene is due to an alteration in susceptibility of the mice to disease. We will also investigated the effect of expression of the Prnd gene on TSE disease.
