Abstract

This project will build on the last five years of success of the Nottingham Arabidopsis Stock Centre in the provision of seed and information resources to the research community. It will target the acquisition of key Arabidopsis thaliana genetic resources, which include T-DNA and transposon insertion lines and mapped characterised mutations, provide a safe depository for these lines and maximise the speed of distribution of this seed and information relating to this material to the Arabidopsis research network. This will involve an appropriate expansion of its genetic resource base, which is user driven, and an increase in the current staffing level, to provide the resources pivotal to the community's research.
