Abstract

Analytical ultracentrifugation is a powerful method of resolving the shape, association state and hydrodynamic characteristics of biological macromolecules. A request is made for a state-of-the-art analytical ultracentrifuge to underpin structural and functional studies of a variety of proteins. The instrument will be housed in the Glycobiology Unit, Department of Biochemistry but will be used by a wide range of scientists on the South Parks Road site in the University of Oxford.
