Abstract
Four overlapping objectives will define a role for the technology in extractive biotransformation: i) Selection of suitable hydrophobic ligands by IAsys methods; ii) Assembly of matrices - selection of suitable solid phases; iii) Matrix characterisation with realistic feedstocks and targets; iv) System validation with yeast, bacteria and hybridoma fermentations.
