Abstract

To synthesise and characterise perfluorocarbon affinity emulsions and to investigate the use of these emulsions in continuous affinity chromatography and direct recovery procedures. To compare solid and liquid perfluorocarbon supports in expanded bed operations and to assess both supports for protein and enzyme immobilisation.
