Abstract

We propose a Centre at York to support, stimulate and promote structural analyses of biological molecules. The Centre will be based around the Protein Structure Group with its existing infrastructure for protein biochemistry and molecular biology, structure determination and molecular modelling. The environment provided by the Centre will stimulate and support studies of a range of biological systems in collaboration with many academic and industrial scientists. The Centre will provide a focus for the further extension, development and application of structural methods in the biomolecular sciences at York.
