Abstract
This study aims to use congenic strains of the tau mutant hamster to screen for the location of the circadian clock defect in a mammalian system using representational difference analysis. This technique is particularly useful in identifying genetic differences between closely related individuals without the need for a comprehensive linkage map of the organism.
