Abstract

(1) To record improved low-angle X-ray diffraction data from contracting fish muscle using the new high intensity beam-line 16.1 at the Daresbury Laboratory. (2) To analyse the resulting patterns using the new suite of fibre diffraction software being developed by CCP13. (3) To model the stripped data using the known contents of the fish muscle unit cell to define the myosin crossbridge motions involved in force production.
