Abstract

BBSRC Research Development Fellowships are designed to enable UK university academic staff to devote themselves full-time to independent research. This is achieved by providing funds to the department to relieve the fellow of all significant teaching and administrative duties. This fellowship will enable Dr J H Naismith to determine the structure of WzaK30 and to determine the mechanism of capsular polysaccharide translocation.
