Abstract
1. To evaluate the potential of MECHM for the removal of nickel, neptunium and technetium from aqueous solution; 2. To exploit the biochemical characteristics of the system to provide a regenerating sorbing surface; 3. To confirm the mechanism of chemisorptive uptake; 4. To construct and test appropriate contactors (bioreactors) for continuous metal removal.
