Abstract

T-DNA tagged 14-3-3 Arabidopsis mutants will be used to study the role of 14-3-3 proteins in regulating plant metabolism. The mutants will be analysed using molecular and cell biological techniques in combination with functional genomic approaches such as metabolic profiling and array expression analysis. The aim of the proposed study is to test the hypothesis that specific 14-3-3 proteins or protein combinations regulate metabolic pathways.
