Abstract

It is proposed to develop a new method of compound identification that is applicable to the screening of combinatorial libraries on beaded resins. This will involve a binary encoding using variously-sized oligonucleotides as coding tags, which will be read in much the same way as a bar code. The method will provide a simple means of library construction that will allow rapid sensitive and cost-effective analysis to identify active components found during screening.
