Abstract

An encoded compound library enables one to readily identify active molecules after screening. The proposed research will explore two novel approaches for encoding libraries using molecular barcodes. One method will utilise a series of resin-bound fluorescent markers that can be selectively cleaved by endonuclease enzymes to encode the bead. The sensitivity and versatility of each method has great potential for use in combinatorial chemistry.
