Abstract
A method of predicting protein side-chain conformations using local three-dimensional homology relationships will be developed. The Project will examine 1) the production of databases of local environments from X-ray data; 2) pattern-matching algorithms to search the database and 3) Monte-Carlo techniques to combine database matches and produce a final total structure prediction.
