Abstract

To determine the role of PI3Ks in B and T cell signal transduction. To investigate signalling pathways upstream and downstream of specific PI3K isoforms in lymphocytes. To assess differentially roles for specific class IA PI3K isoforms in lymphocytes. To investigate the role for PI3K in Th1 versus Th2 differentiation of T cells. To investigate roles for PI3K in the molecular transforming events leading to B and T cell leukaemia. To generate mice with tissue-specific targeted PI3K mutations. Development of sophisticated gene targeting strategies.
