Abstract

It is proposed to purchase a confocal microscope system, specifically a Lecia TCS MP. The acquisition of the equipment will benefit the research of many groups across the Veterinary School and will be used primarily for: The study of the pathogenesis of infectious organisms, including viruses, prions, bacteria and parasites, and the study of physiological and pathological processes during oncogenesis, differentiation and development.
