Abstract

Techniques such as cryo electron microscopy, X-ray crystallography, spectroscopy and molecular modelling provide important information on protein structure and function. We are requesting computer hardware to process data involved from a number of such techniques. This hardware and associated staff support is essential to support analysis of data on protein complexes such as chaperonins and oligomeric pore-forming toxins, on structure elucidation of bacterial toxins, eye lens proteins, ion channels, structural genomics projects on proteins from M. Tb and identification and classification of protein binding sites, modelling protein stability and unfolding and developing CD analysis software.
