Abstract
The main objectives are: (i) to obtain complete cDNA and genomic sequence of two transporters from C. elegans; (ii) to functionally express and characterise the transporters in cell lines; (iii) to obtain mutant strains of C. elegans which do not express the transporters; (iv) to undertake structure/function studies on mutagenised transporters by assaying in vivo and in vitro activity.
