Abstract

The project will establish and test an integrated set of computer-based planning tools to enhance flexibility in the development of commercial processes for biopharmaceuticals. The tools will be of particular value to small and medium sized companies where they will aid planning, process design and decision making. They will also be of value to academic institutes in assessing the commercial feasibility of developing discoveries with therapeutic potential and as training aids in biochemical engineering.
