Abstract

Our objectives are: (a) to ensure provision of microarray resources to the S. coelicolor community for the next 3 years, based on a business model which leads to full cost recovery by the end of the projects life, up to 11,000 slides being catered for as required; (b) to provide a robust data model for transcriptome and proteome data (MaxD) and to ensure their transfer to a robust data warehouse based on the GIMS model, with curation beyond the lifetime of the project; (c) to link these databases with the genomic and annotation data being produced at the JIC; (d) to offer a hotelling service and training in transcriptome data production and data analyses for the S. coelicolor community. (Joint with grant 18887 and 18888).
