Abstract

Support is requested for a Project Manager for COGEME. This IGF Consortium currently supports functional genomics research with 6 yeast and fungal species, and has plans to extend its range still further. The Project Manager will promote synergistic interactions both within and between COGEME and its client communities. She will organise meetings, courses, and workshops, as well as write and disseminate reports. She will also play an active role in the establishment of a multi-species database for comparative functional genomics of yeast and fungi. She will encourage the establishment, adoption, and use of international standards of functional genomic data deposition.
