Abstract

Zebrafish are continuing to increase in popularity as a developmental model organism and investigators are requiring access to ever increasing numbers of different lines of fish for their research projects. This application requests funds to continue core support of the UCL Zebrafish Facility. This will enable the housing and maintenance of many lines of zebrafish including new mutant and transgenic lines. Funding of the Facility will underpin ongoing research projects within the applicant's group and within other laboratories at UCL. In addition, the Facility will continue to facilitate zebrafish research by other scientists within the UK and world-wide community.
