To analyze the molecular basis of a novel active segregation mechanism in yeast, and establish its relationship with chromosomal inheritance mechanisms by: defining the components contributing to the system by segregational analysis studying the protein interactions using antisera isolation of genes encoding further factors involved using the two-hybrid system
