Abstract
1. Characterise branching in the shoot system of wild-type Arabidopsis, mutants with altered auxin sensitivity and transgenic plants with altered auxin levels. 2. Identify mutants with altered branching. 3. Characterised mutants genetically and phenotypically. 4. Characterise the most interesting allelic class of mutants in detail.
