Abstract
(1) Carry out DNA SELEX on mutants of the MetJ repressor; (2) Carry out RNA SELEX on wild-type and mutant repressors in the presence or absence of co-repressors; (3) Study examples from (1+2) in detail and make them available for structural studies; (4) Examine the in vivo phenotypes of the repressor-ligand combinations.
