Abstract

As part of the GARNet project HRI has produced 21,000 Gene Specific Tags (GSTs) for micro-array production and a further 9,000 are in preparation. In this proposal, as part of a three way collaboration, we will clone the GSTs into GATEWAY vectors suitable for NASC to distribute. These clones will be useful for micro-array production or other cloning uses. Furthermore, in order to develop a flexible resource for functional genomics that will allow the Arabidopsis research community to carry out RNA interference (RNAi) analyses we will produce a set of hairpin RNA (hpRNA) clones. All of these clones will be made available to NASC for distribution to the research community.
