Abstract

1.To develop a Bayesian probability detector for converting large quantities of raw patch clamp data into an optimally fitted trace of current levels and transitions with opportunity for the experimentalist to edit artefacts. 2.To apply these methods to the study of the rapid gating events that occur with gramicidin A and ATP-sensitive K channels.
