Abstract

(i) To obtain a new range of enantiopure bioproducts of each enantiomeric form by a combination of enzymatic and chemoenzymatic methods. (ii) To test the potential of these chiral oxidation products as reagents for chiral transfer, kinetic resolution and synthesis. (iii) To study the mechanism and control of dioxygenase-catalysed oxidations. (Joint with grant 88/T02769).
