Abstract

This project will build on our existing work on food physics and has three main stands: 1) Transport in heterogeneous media - which will include structural characterisation of such media; 2) Low moisture solids including powders and 3) Surfaces - which will utilise new surface techniques including ion beam analysis and spectroscopic ellipsometry throughout the project there will be effort on both experimental and theoretical fronts.
