Abstract
By using a series of isolated photosystem II complexes of defined and differing subunit composition, the location and function of low molecular weight proteins and lipids will be investigated. The purpose of the study is to obtain knowledge about these components of photosystem II which at present is not available but is required to complement a programme of research funded by the BBSRC aimed at elucidating the structure of PSII.
