Abstract

A number of BBSRC-funded projects are underway in our laboratories on determining the structure/function relationship of several important classes of membrane protein. Fluorescence spectroscopy is an indispensable technique for probing this relationship but we are unable to perform these experiments at the required resolution. We are requesting funds to purchase a state-of-the-art instrument that will allow us to proceed with these projects.
