Abstract
The aim is to define the mechanism of the stimulation of the Ca-ATPase by phosphatidylinositol-4-phosphate and other anionic phospholipids, using steady state and pre- steady state kinetic and spectroscopic methods. ESR and fluorescence methods will be used to define the binding sites for these lipids on the Ca-ATPase.
