Abstract

This project will analyse immunological aspects of the lymphoreticular systems (LRS) in the response to scrapie in sheep of different PrP genotypes. The project aims to establish the relative importance of cells of the LRS in the transport and spread of scrapie infectivity in genetically susceptible and resistant sheep.
