Abstract
B. rapa is the leading oil crop grown in Bangladesh. Despite widespread cultivation (81% of oil crops grown), it provides only 30% of domestic demand. Its growing period is short and under pressure from both crop rotation and the need to harvest before spring temperature rises. This deliverable will satisfy an existing demand for collaboration from Bangladesh to provide key genetic data and resources that will enable breeding for earlier flowering and enhanced productivity of this key domestic source of vegetable oil in Bangladesh
