Abstract
We will generate high quality transcriptome datasets with RNA-seq. These will provide two important sets of data. Pre-vaccination datasets will give insight into the overall genome-wide transcription output in PBMCs from different cohorts, which may uncover differences in overall immune competence due to environment/ethnic background. VDJ-seq datasets will provide a detailed picture of antibody diversity as a predictor of immune competence before vaccination and a marker of antibody expansion post-vaccination.
