Abstract
The objective is to develop a pilot decision support system for providing growers and advisers with the situation specific information needed to optimise the strategic and day to day management of potato crop production. This implies building knowledge bases of mathematical decision models and using crop growth models; developing techniques to combine them and an appropriate user interface.
