Abstract
The ability to reduce the activity of a given gene is an attractive tool for understanding gene function with great potential in animal trangenesis and gene therapy . In this project we will combine RNAi and specific viral vectors to induce target gene knockdown in the liver to alter heptocyte meatbolism and function.
