Abstract
Early events in host-pathogen interactions are likely to be critical in controlling infection. These can differ depending on the genotupe of the host. This project involves the identificatoion of key candidate molecules involved in the initial response to a protozoan parasite of cattle, and role of polymorphic variants underlying differences in host disease resistance.
