Abstract
The work outlined in this proposal aims to provide a level of support to the Institute¿s genomics research programmes by developing tools to facilitate the handling of data from genomic experiments - and the presentation and re-use of the results arising from such work - both from within and outwith the Institute. The tools thus generated will vary from single use, bespoke projects to multiple user systems deployed worldwide. As requirements are identified throughout the project lifespan, strategic plans will be developed to ensure that the Institute is best placed to benefit from future developments in bioinformatics technology and funding opportunities.
