Abstract
The programme will develop and apply new techniques for the germline engineering of mice and farm animals to knockdown the expression of specific genes. We shall use RNA interference strategies and lentivirus technology to target the knockdown of genes relevant to cell growth, livestock production traits and infectious disease.
