Abstract

Mechanisms are studied of substrate transformations at metal centres with structural elements related to those in the hydrogenases, nitrogenases, nitrite reductases and molybdopterin enzymes. High-level computational methods are used to gain complementary information on model and enzymic reaction pathways.
