Abstract

All - hydrogenases possess an unusual iron -sulfur cluster active site (H-centre) at which protons are reduced to hydrogen with very high efficiency. This project focuses on the de novo construction of artificial H-centres and the assembly of new catalysts for hydrogen evolution.
