Abstract
The aim is to bring together recent advances in developmental biology, computer modelling and visualisation to address a fundamental problem: the relationship between genes and morphogenesis. An integrated model will be produced in which experimental data on gene action and growth will be incorporated within a virtual organism that develops according to in-built rules.
