Abstract

This part of the EuDicotMap comparative mapping programme will sequence short regions of the Brassica napus genome that are homologous to that immediately flanking the FCA gene on Arabidopsis chromosome IV. The results will be informative as to the extent of the microsynteny between these closely related genomes and the nature of the divergence between duplicated segments in the crop plant.
