Abstract
The FCA gene promotes the transition to flowering. It encodes an RNA-binding protein and is itself post-transcriptionally regulated. FCA regulation and function is being examined through analysis of the hierarchy of flowering time genes, definition of FCA targets and characterization of FCA RNA and protein partners.
