Abstract
The Arabidopsis genes VRN1 and VRN2 involved in controlling the perception and response to a vernalisation signal will be cloned by transposon tagging and chromosome walking respectively. The structure and expression of the gene products will be analysed with the aim of elucidating their biochemical function.
