Abstract
This project studies the genetic analysis of responses of wheat to salt treatment. A population of doubled haploids was produced and used to make a genetic map to carry out quantitative trait locus analysis of responses to salinity. Differences in allele frequency were also examined in plants selected from segregating populations according to contrasting expression of responses to salinity stress.
